Back to school kicks off with second annual GBAPS Welcome Back Celebration

The Green Bay Area Public School District kicked off back to school season with the second annual GBAPS Welcome Back Celebration on August 8.

Students, families and community members were invited to the event at Joannes Park, where they could enjoy carnival-style games, performances and a free hot lunch. 

Each GBAPS school hosted a booth with a fun activity, and students had the opportunity to meet staff members.

The GBAPS Food Service team served around 2,000 meals at the event.
